K.I.C.
Kids In Christ

Dear Parents,
As we prepare for the 2022-2023 KIC (Kids in Christ) Faith Formation year we want to thank you for entrusting your children to us to complement your family faith formation.  The Church teaches, “The role of parents in education is of such importance that it is almost impossible to provide an adequate substitute” (CCC2221), and that parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children in the virtues and the practice of Catholic Faith.  The Christian home is the first place where life in Christ takes root in the human heart.  The purpose of our Faith Formation program is to support and accompany you on in this important mission. Our team of catechists are well-equipped in this mission and with the help of the Holy Spirit, catechists will pass on our Catholic faith to your children.

The curriculum we use – Be My Disciples by RCL Benziger- will help your children and families to:

  • grow in the conversion to Jesus Christ
  • develop the habits of discipleship
  • decide each day to choose life in Christ
  • live as active, committed members of the Catholic Church

We are privileged to support you in forming your children in the Catholic Faith and we encourage your faithful practice through active participation through prayer and sacraments!

We ask for your prayers and support as we journey together to grow in our Catholic Faith!

Classes will start at the end of September.

If you have any questions, please contact us by phone (651-674–7382) or email.

May God bless your family and may His grace and peace be yours in abundance!

Kids In Christ

Our 1st through 8th grade KIC program empowers children and their families to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, to develop the habits of discipleship, and to decide each day to live as followers of Christ.

Our curriculum, “Be My Disciples” is based on a balanced approach to children’s faith formation. Each lesson encourages children to explore, discover and decide! We celebrate together with special liturgies and prayers services throughout the year.

Each year, in accordance with the St. Paul and Minneapolis Archdiocese, we implement the Children and Youth Safety Instruction lessons. For more information on these standards visit the St. Paul and Minneapolis Archdiocese website.

For more information about our K.I.C program, please contact claire@stgregorynb.org or the Faith Formation office at 651-674-4056.
