Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer at Saint Gregory the Great? If you enjoy landscaping, we have a few projects that we would like to complete by the end of July. Please contact the parish office if you are interested in either of these volunteer opportunities.

We are forming a greeter's ministry for our Saturday and Sunday Masses. We would like to have two greeters at each Mass. (This ministry is different than being an usher). Individuals and/or families are encouraged to consider this ministry. The duties include being at church one-half hour before Mass to greet parishioners and visitors at the front door of the church. You would be done with your responsibilities and are then free to sit down, five minutes after Mass has started. The requirements for this important ministry is to be friendly, out going, and be willing to WELCOME ALL WHO ENTER THE CHURCH. A training session is planned in July and you will need to attend before starting. Please contact the parish office or Father Shane if you are interested.

As Mass attendance increases, so does the need for Eucharistic Ministers at both our Saturday 5:00pm and Sunday 9:30am Masses. If you are currently a Eucharistic Minister and would like to be put back on the schedule or would like more information about becoming a Eucharistic Minister, please contact Claire Kind at 651.674.1890. Thank you!

“Some people God has designated in the Church to be, first, apostles; second, prophets; third teachers; then, mighty deeds; then gift of healing, assistance, administration, and varieties of tongues. Are all Apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work might deeds? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? Strive eagerly for the greatest spiritual gifts. But I shall show you a still more excellent way” (1 Cor 12:28-31) As we move forward from Covid-19 and start to plan for the coming year, we are in need of Catechists for our 2021-2022 KIC program. If you feel you have a particular call to serve as a teacher of the faith, please contact the Faith Formation office at 651.674.4056
